Yomi Fabiyi, a producer and actor in Nollywood, had written Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, an open letter.
The notorious actor, who was involved in Baba Ijesha’s rape case, asked the governor to look into Damola Adekola, whose spermatozoa were discovered in the girl, 14,’s private area.
He said that the sperm discovered in Princess’ foster daughter’s private area was not Baba Ijesha’s. Damilola Adekoya, also known as Princess the Comedian, was rumored to have fostered Damola Adekola.
The petition claims that Damola Adekola and Okele, who stayed in Princess’s home, were sexually abusing the young girl after Baba Ijesha was apprehended by police. Princess the comedian never refuted this information.
In the petition, Fabiyi stated that a person seeking justice must do it with clean hands. During Baba Ijesha’s trial hearing, he believed the pair (Damola Adekola and Okele) would be put on trial, but regrettably the prosecution attorney provided justifications for why he was not. In the appeal, Fabiyi claimed that Baba Ijesha, who was reportedly persuaded to commit the immoral behavior, was sentenced while a “POTENTIAL PEADOPHILE” was allowed to go free.
It says in his letter,
It is common knowledge that after Baba Ijesha was taken into custody, the police launched an investigation. Days later, SPERM was discovered on a fourteen-year-old girl, who then confessed that she had been having sex with one DAMOLA ADEKOLA, a close friend and neighbor of Princess. This led to Damola’s arrest and his subsequent admission of guilt.
The other suspect, a security guard using the alias “Okele” in the residence, managed to elude capture. They haven’t been put on trial in almost two years. I had anticipated that he would be put on trial during Baba Ijesha’s case, but the prosecution provided justifications as to why he wasn’t, which meant that a POTENTIAL PEDOPHILE was permitted to walk free while Baba Ijesha was tricked into accepting a sentence.
The bad news is that he might have kept abusing the victim and other unwitting victims who might have been quietly licking their wounds. I say this because Princess Comedian testified in court that she knew about Damola and her house security guard Okele’s abuse of the same bait girl a year before Baba Ijesha’s TRAP and only sought spiritual guidance for that reason.
The problem with that is that after Baba Ijesha was arrested, SEMEN was still discovered on the girl’s privates, clearly constituting child neglect, which is illegal in Lagos State. There are numerous other issues with the legitimacy of the “ADOPTION” that Princess claimed. I don’t believe there is any proof of a legal adoption as of the trial and your government also permitted that.
To enter EQUITY, one must have CLEAN HANDS. Additionally, there was a report that the girl had two abortions throughout her pregnancy. Respectfully, Sir, the few CHILD RIGHTS advocates—NGOs, journalists, elitists, and celebrities—who paid attention to the case appear to purposefully or unintentionally disregard some of these aspects in their reporting. Sir, you are a guy I value; sharp, tenacious, frank, with a clear conscience, and entrusted with the authority of the good people of Lagos State.
I kindly request that you act quickly to save the girl and uphold human rights. Your memory will live on forever. My conscience is telling me that I have waited too long, so I don’t want to organize another protest or go before the court on this new development. May God lead the young people to the truth, for only the truth can free Nigeria. While expressing gratitude for your swift reaction and choice regarding this issue. In his petition, he stated.
