Nigerian actress Wumi Toriola has responded to a video in which she wore two different wigs in a movie scene produced by actress Mide Martins and her husband, Afeez Owo.

Wumi Toriola gained attention online after a clip from a movie titled “IJA,” in which she starred, went viral. The scene showed the actress using two different wigs for the same scene.

In response to the criticism, Wumi Toriola took to her social media page and shared a photo of herself in an S.U. outfit, stating that nobody can criticize her as long as she didn’t wear a wig.

Wumi Toriola reacted after Mide Martins and her husband, actor Afeez Owo, issued a heartfelt apology to her for a post-production error.

Naijalegit reported earlier that celebrity couple, actress Mide Martins and her husband, actor Afeez Owo, have offered a heartfelt apology to fellow actress Wumi Toriola for a post-production error in their latest movie titled “IJA.”

The apology is related to an unfortunate inconsistency involving the wig and props used in a particular scene featuring Wumi Toriola in the movie.

Mide Martins and Afeez Owo, the producers of the movie, expressed their deep regret over this error and assured that it was an unintentional and costly mistake that occurred during the post-production phase.

Their public statement read: “Our attention has been drawn to the inconsistency in the wig/props used in one of the scenes involving ‘Actress Wunmi Toriola’ in our latest movie IJA. We would like to state categorically that the error was not from Wunmi Toriola at all.

Rather, it was an expensive mistake from the post-production crew at the editing stage (The Editor).
