In the midst of reports regarding award-winning singer Davido and his wife Chioma welcoming twins, Nigerians have uncovered a tweet from him that hinted at this news.
As reported by Naijalegit just hours ago, Davido and Chioma have become trending topics on Twitter following the news of the couple’s twins.
Davido added to the speculation by alluding to his wife as ‘Maba Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in one of his songs from his album, Timeless.
In the track titled ‘In The Garden,’ featuring Morravey, Davido’s lyrics include the line, “Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji.”
On Sunday, the singer tweeted that this week would be the best week of his life, adding to the anticipation surrounding the reported birth of twins.
This only added more credence to the reports of the singer and his wife’s twins’ arrival.
Furthermore, Pastor Gospel Agochukwu, a Nigerian clergyman from Shekinah Arena International Ministries, has verified the birth of the twins.
On his Facebook page, the clergyman extended his congratulations to the couple on the new additions to their family.
He shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message, confirming that his prophecy from the previous year had indeed come true. According to the chat, it was claimed that the couple welcomed twins – a boy and a girl – at 9 p.m., although the specific date was not disclosed.
It’s worth noting that the clergyman had previously revealed that he received a divine revelation predicting that Davido and Chioma would become parents to twins.
If these reports hold true, the birth of the twins would be a joyful moment for the couple, especially considering the loss of their first child, a baby boy, at the age of 3.
