Late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, professionally known as Mohbad, has responded to comments made by Pastor Tunde Bakare regarding his lifestyle.
A video circulating on social media showed Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church (formerly Latter Rain Assembly), commenting on Mohbad following his passing.
In the video, the former presidential aspirant suggested that Mohbad had faced consequences for his actions, stating that anyone who lives by the sword dies by the sword.
A throwback interview of the late Mohbad has resurfaced recently, where he emphatically stated that he had never taken anyone’s life.
This revelation from Mohbad came during a playful question in the interview when he was asked to choose between kissing, hugging, and killing DJ Cuppy, Sheyi Shay, and Tems. He responded by saying he couldn’t choose to kill anyone because he is a lover boy and prefers to kiss.
Mohbad also discussed his spirituality during the interview. He mentioned that his greatest fear is God abandoning him, emphasizing that God has always been with him in every life situation.
This old interview gained renewed attention after Tonto Dikeh criticized Pastor Tunde Bakare for his comments about the late Mohbad’s lifestyle.
