Fuji musician Saheed Osupa paid a visit to his fellow music legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (Kwam 1), during the coronation rites for Kwam 1’s title as the Olori Omooba Akile Ijebu.

As part of Kwam 1’s coronation process, he recently entered a sacred house. In a recent video, Saheed Osupa can be seen visiting Kwam 1 at the sacred house to show his support and convey his well-wishes.

Legendary singer, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam1, has revealed why Ọba Sikiru Kayọde Adetọna, the Awujale Of Ijebuland, chose him to become the Olori Omooba of Ijebu Kingdom.

Kwam1 was honored with the prestigious title of Olori Omoba of Akile Ijebu by the paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, during the Ojude Oba festival. This title is a symbol of pride and distinction in Ijebuland and was last held by the late Nigerian businessman and founder of First City Monument Bank, Otunba Subomi Balogun.

As the Olori Omoba, Kwam1’s role is to uphold the culture and traditions of the Ijebu people and actively contribute to the development of the society.

In a recent interview, the Fuji singer disclosed the reasons why Oba Sikiru Adetona bestowed this significant title upon him.
