A young Nigerian lady has reached out for help concerning her mental well-being as she shared her recurring dreams involving the late Afrobeats singer, Mohbad.
In a TikTok video posted by a user with the handle @pointedbwess, she expressed her distress about seeing the late singer in her dreams, despite having no prior knowledge of him or his music. She recounted experiencing these dreams three consecutive times.
In her dreams, she found herself in a room with Mohbad, who appeared unable to speak or explain his presence. The situation became even more puzzling when, in a subsequent dream, an aunt entered the room and greeted Mohbad, suggesting a familiarity between them.
Tears streamed down her face as she revealed that these constant dreams of the singer were taking a toll on her mental health. She explained, “I’ve been seeing Mohbad in my dreams. The dreams are becoming scarier with each occurrence—first time, second time, third time last night, I’m really scared. It’s affecting my mental health. I have no connection to Mohbad; I’m not his family member, friend, or even a fan of his music.”
“I didn’t even know anything about him when he was alive. Three days ago, I dreamt that I was in a room, I saw Mohbad in the room. When I saw him, he was looking at me. I recognized him in the dream, and I asked him what’s up, to tell me what happened to him, but he just kept looking at me and couldn’t speak.”
