Amid the controversy surrounding the death of Promise Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, Nigerian actor Femi Branch has expressed his opinion that the police should not hesitate to investigate Mohbad’s father.
In a post on his Instagram page, Femi Branch questioned why Mohbad’s father was in such a hurry to bury him, especially since the late singer was not a Muslim.
Femi Branch went on to suggest that the father did not even grieve and appealed to the Nigerian police to thoroughly interrogate the late singer’s father, as he could potentially be a prime suspect.
In his Instagram post, Femi Branch wrote:
“They wanted to bring him to be buried that same night, I was the one that refused.”
My question for Mohbad’s father is: WHY? Why the rush? He’s not a Muslim but a Christian! He didn’t even grieve?! He didn’t want to know what killed his son?! In related news, Iyabo Ojo has revealed that the planned peaceful walk in honor of the late singer Mohbad will no longer take place due to security concerns. She explained that she had been informed by the police that hoodlums were planning to hijack the event.
