GRAHAM Alexander feels that City’s encouraging League One start has only set the groundwork for the season.
With seven victories and 23 points from ten games, the Bantams have jumped out to an early lead.
After Cardiff unexpectedly lost 1-0 at home to Gary Bowyer’s Burton, who had been at the bottom of the standings, they are still leading going into tomorrow’s match against Rotherham.
Although City has had an incredible first few months since being promoted, Alexander emphasised that the season is still extremely early.
He described it as a foundation.
“After ten games, we haven’t even reached the halfway point. Having so many points, however, offers us assurance that the team has bonded rapidly.
“We don’t have too many League One players that play the same position every season. We have some.
“We have guys who are demonstrating themselves, either by their age or by the level they are playing at for the first time. For example, there are young players like Bobby (Pointon) or Josh (Neufville).
