Veteran Yoruba actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, has shared his thoughts on his children’s journey into acting and his aspirations for their education.
In an interview featured on the official YouTube channel of Oga Bello TV, he expressed his excitement about their success in the film industry while clarifying that he never encouraged them to pursue acting.
He emphasized that his primary focus was for his children to prioritize their education before considering a career in the movie industry.
In his statement, he said, “I never told my children to join film making, my aim was for them to go to school.
When they were younger, they used to plead to me that they wanted to join me at the movie location, but I gave them a condition that if any one of them wanted to join the movie industry, they would have to pass their exams in school.
I had the opportunity to get them decent jobs in lucrative companies, but they refused because they have a passion for film making.”
