Fuji Singer Kwam1 Loses His Wife Hafsat Anifowoshe To Illness, Dies At 65

Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe, the wife of renowned Nigerian Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam1 or K1 de Ultimate, has sadly passed away.

Reports confirm that Alhaja Hafsat died earlier today following an undisclosed illness. The 65-year-old was laid to rest in line with Islamic customs at Abari Cemetery in Lagos.

Reflecting on her passing, the Chief Press Secretary to the LIEL CDA Chairman described her as an exceptional woman and a devoted mother. He praised her life as one of service to God and humanity, leaving a legacy of kindness and impact.

Addressing the family and her supporters, he said their prayers were with them and urged them to find the strength to continue where she stopped.

“We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner.

“You must, however, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity.

“Rest assured that our thoughts are with you, and our prayers are that you, the children, and all those she left behind will find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest,” the statement read.

Numerous celebrities have lost their partners in the last two years. Adedoyin Odunuga nee Odagi, the wife of gospel artist Dare Melody, passed away last year. On his Instagram page, he made headlines when he disclosed that his wife had passed away early on Thursday, October 24.
