Nollywood actress and filmmaker Wunmi Toriola has expressed heartfelt gratitude to her fans for the overwhelming support that propelled her movie, Queen Lateefah, to become one of the top ten Nollywood films of 2024.
The proud mother of one took to social media to thank everyone who contributed to the success of her cinematic debut. Reflecting on her journey, she wrote:
*”Thank you, Nigerians! *Queen Lateefah* (cinema debut) made the top 10 movies in Nollywood for 2024. Whatever idea God gives me, He will take care of it to fruition. Some of us find joy in being our own light because we are light unfiltered.”*
Wunmi also gave a special shout-out to her colleagues in the industry, acknowledging their collective efforts. “A big shout-out to every filmmaker in Nigeria. This is our win. May God bless the works of our hands,” she added.
