Joseph Aloba, the grieving father of the late Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has publicly shared his heartbreak over the strained relationship with his surviving son, Adura Aloba, following Mohbad’s tragic passing.
In an emotional live session that has stirred reactions online, Joseph expressed his deep distress about the growing emotional distance and lack of communication with Adura. The heartfelt plea highlighted the pain of a father longing to reconnect with his family amidst the enduring grief of losing a child.
He depicted a somber picture of a family trying to come to terms with the singer’s untimely demise, accusing anonymous people of seeking to intentionally cause strife between him and Adura while in obvious agony.
Mohbad’s tragic death in September 2023 has remained a hotbed of controversy, fueling endless speculation and sparking heated debates across social media platforms. The clamor for justice has been loud and persistent, with many fans and observers questioning the circumstances surrounding the young artist’s passing.
Yet, as the saga drags on with no resolution in sight, Joseph Aloba finds himself not only mourning his son but also dealing with the crushing weight of family estrangement and betrayal.
In a recent live video session, Joseph Aloba did not hold back his frustrations, revealed that since Mohbad’s death, Adura has completely distanced himself, refusing to visit or check on him.
What’s more painful, Joseph claimed, is that this estrangement seems orchestrated by certain individuals who are allegedly working to suppress the truth about what really happened to Mohbad.
He alleged that these conspirators have gone as far as hiring vigilante groups to shield Adura and his mother from anyone seeking to reach them, including himself.
