“We Go Through A lot Before Movie Can Be Done”- Actress Toyin Abraham reveals how she dealt with fan caught recording her new movie “Alakada Bhad and Boujee”

Nollywood actress and box office queen Toyin Abraham has called on Nigerians to refrain from pirating her movies.

Taking to her Instagram page, the actress, whose latest film, Alakada Bhad and Boujee, is currently showing in cinemas across Nigeria, recounted an incident where someone was caught recording the film during a screening.

Toyin revealed that the individual deleted the footage after being confronted, and she allowed him to leave. The actress emphasized the importance of respecting creative work and urged fans to support her by watching the movie legally in theaters.

According to Abraham, the individual deleted the recording after being confronted, and she chose to let them go without further action.

“We caught someone at the cinema, who came to record Alakada: Bhad and Boujee. She deleted it, and I told them to let her go,” she said.

However, the mother of one made it clear that she would no longer intervene if anyone is caught attempting to pirate her work in the future.

“Please stop recording; if they catch anyone, I won’t interfere again. Please, guys, I am so tired,” she pleaded.

Fans and supporters have since taken to social media to express solidarity with the actress, urging others to respect intellectual property and support the industry by watching films legally in cinemas.

It is worth noting that Alakada: Bhad and Boujee is the latest release in Abraham’s popular Alakada series and has racked N134M in its first week.
