Veteran Yoruba actor Olushola Olanipekun, popularly known as Pariolodo, has opened up about his experience in the film industry, sharing the highs and lows of his career.

In an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel, Pariolodo revealed that while he cherished the recognition and fame that came with being an actor, he was paid as little as 1,500 naira for movie roles by actors and producers.

In his statement, he said, “I have to give thanks to God for what he has done in my life because a lot of people recognized me as a famous actor, and they used to invite me to their houses. There was a time that somebody met me at a party, and the only thing he could offer me was a bottle of beer. I enjoyed fame as an actor, but actors and producers used to pay me 1,500 naira for movie roles.”
