Renowned Yoruba actress Funmilayo Omikunle has opened up about the challenges she has faced since the passing of her husband and how she has managed to navigate life and her career in the Yoruba film industry.
In an interview shared on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomo TV, Funmilayo revealed that after her husband’s death, she found herself without anyone to depend on emotionally or financially. She further shared that she has chosen not to remarry since his passing, focusing instead on her career and personal growth.
Her heartfelt story has resonated with many, drawing admiration for her strength and resilience in overcoming life’s difficulties.

However, in the comment section, a fan humorously questioned the absence of controversial singer Portable in the photos, playfully speculating about his unique fashion choices:
“Where is Portable na? Na juju and Sango costume he go wear.”
In October, Portable had dragged Ashabi after she called herself a peaceful person. He blasted her as he stated that her love for fame made her have kids with him, and claimed that her leg wasn’t good.
In another series of posts, while explaining the cause of his latest tantrums, he warned her not to talk to his wife behind his back. He noted how anytime she mingles with his wife, he and his wife end up having issues as he vowed to impregnate one of her friends.
Amid his tantrum, Ashabi declared herself a Queen of Peace. A fan noted how she would still return to the singer amid his monthly drama and Ashabi replied to him, noting how she never left.
The relationship between Portable and Ashabi have been rocking since they started dating. In June, the singer slammed her, as he claimed Ashabi called his wife to tell her that she would be stepping aside from her relationship with Portable, yet she was having his baby.
Back in January, the couple had issue after Ashabi granted an interview giving an insight into their love life, which left Portable enraged and he slammed her, reminding her that she was just a side chick. The lovebirds reconciled for a while but, fell out again after Portable slammed her for trying to ruin his marriage to Bewaji.
