Renowned Yoruba actress Toyin Adegbola has opened up about some of the difficult moments she has faced in the film industry, including an incident where she was attacked by individuals in the presence of her husband.
In a video shared by actor Kunle Afod, he revealed that he dedicated time to visiting several veteran actors as part of his efforts to spread Christmas cheer. During his visit to Toyin Adegbola’s home, he surprised her with a live chicken as a thoughtful holiday gift, showcasing his respect and appreciation for her contributions to the industry.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interview, she made it known that she quickly entered her car when some people saw her and they started calling her a prostitute in the presence of her husband.
In her statement, she said, “One day, I was going out with my husband, and I was surprised to see some people calling me a prostitute. I quickly entered my car when some people called me a prostitute in the presence of my husband. My husband looked at me, and he said that they called me a prostitute because of the role I played in one of my movies.”
