Popular petite actress Aunty Ramota, known for her comedic performances, has addressed rumors about her alleged pregnancy. She revealed that the pregnancy stems from her relationship with skit creator Ijoba Lande, often referred to as her on-screen “husband.”
Speculation about her pregnancy surfaced last week, leaving fans uncertain. However, Aunty Ramota’s recent disclosure has added a new twist to the ongoing buzz.
However, Aunty Ramota confirmed the pregnancy and identified Ijoba Lande as the father in a recent interview that was posted on her Instagram page on Thursday.
Addressing the rumour, Lande, who was part of the interview said, “You people are funny. Is it so hard to believe? Someone said she is pregnant, what is there to drag?
“Pregnancy is not something that can be hidden. If someone tells you she is three months pregnant, you just count the rest of the months and see.”
When asked to confirm his role, Lande stated that Aunty Ramota should answer the question herself.
“Every woman knows who is responsible for her pregnancy,” he added.
Aunty Ramota, however, left no room for doubt. “Yes, I am pregnant. Lande is responsible for my pregnancy,” she said.
When pressed further, Lande admitted to being the father and asked why it was shocking.

“Doesn’t she have a reproductive system? The same way we bought wedding clothes and people doubted, if one gets married, isn’t it expected to give birth?”
