Nollywood actress Mide Martins has melted hearts after a touching gesture of gratitude toward her husband, Afeez Owo, for his unwavering support.
During the recently held Odunlade Adekola Film Production (OAFP) Awards in Abeokuta, Mide Martins was honored with the Best Actress of the Year award. Overwhelmed with emotion, she knelt before her husband to thank him for his constant encouragement and contributions to her career.
Fans and colleagues have since reacted warmly to the moment, praising Mide for her humility and the beautiful bond she shares with her husband. Many also congratulated her on the well-deserved recognition.
In her speech, Mide appreciated God for the journey, which she admitted hasn’t been easy. She appreciated Him for giving her the strength and ability to do all that she does every time.
She also appreciated her husband aguys she noted how without him, there is no her. She thanked him for being there for her since she lost her mother.
“I want to say a big thank you to God Almighty, the journey hasn’t been easy at all. I say thank you to God for giving me the strength and the ability to do all that I do every time.
I want to also say thank you to my husband, my PR; without him, there is no me. He has always been there for me since I lost my mother, he is still there and will always be there”.
