A heartwarming video has gone viral, showing Roqeebah, the daughter of Fuji maestro Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, paying a visit to fellow Fuji legend Saheed Osupa to personally invite him to her father’s upcoming 40th-anniversary celebration.
Pasuma, a celebrated name in the Fuji music industry, will mark 40 years of excellence in the music business on December 18, 2024. The grand event is set to take place at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, and promises to be a night to remember.
The gesture by Roqeebah has been widely applauded, with fans praising her respect for tradition and unity within the Fuji music community.
Pasuma kicked off his 40th-anniversary European tour in August, performing in countries such as Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium, Spain, and Holland, among others.
Recently, Pasuma dished out amazing performances in London and Manchester in the United Kingdom as part of the celebration of his 40 years on stage.
As it approaches its final celebration in Nigeria, Odetola Roqeebat Omobolaji, the third child and third daughter of Pasuma visits Saheed Osupa to invite him to her daddy’s 40th year on stage celebration.
In the clip, Saheed Osupa warmly received the invitation with positive energy and was later seen posing with it. He assured Pasuma’s daughter that he would attend the 40-year-on-stage celebration.
