Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has penned a heartfelt message following his reconciliation with his elder brother and fellow filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan.
Sharing a photo of himself from his mother’s funeral, Aremu expressed deep gratitude to everyone who extended love and support during his period of mourning. His message highlighted the significance of family and unity, especially in difficult times, leaving fans and colleagues moved by the renewed bond between the Afolayan brothers.
He appreciated the visit, calls, prayers and presence of everyone during his mother’s burial. He expressed regret for not being able to respond to individuals, which is impossible.
“This is my face of gratitude for all your calls, visit and support plus prayers on my mother’s death. A o Ni Fi iru re San fun Ra was o. I wish I could reply each and everyone individually but that’s practically impossible. Pls accept this collective one. I love you thank you.”
Naijalegit recalls that Kunle Afolayan and Aremu Afolayan officially put an end to their rift of many years at the mother, Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan’s wake keep service.
The younger, Aremu, apologised to his elder brother and praised his efforts in catering for their late mother.

Sharing the good news online, Muyiwa Ademola rejoiced because he was alive to witness the development. He praised the brothers for setting aside their differences and settling things at their mother’s wake to keep service.
Ademola also rejoiced that their mother will be resting peacefully due to her children’s union, saying she is smiling from her resting abode.
