Adesua Etomi, actress and wife of Nigerian musician Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, is expecting their second child.
The couple shared the joyous news with their millions of fans by posting Adesua’s prenatal photos in a heartfelt joint announcement. Reflecting on their journey, they spoke about how they started together, welcomed their first child, and are now eagerly awaiting their second. The couple expressed their gratitude, stating that they now feel complete and deeply blessed.
“First, we had each other, then we had your brother, then God sent you and now, we have everything”.
A few days back, Banky W had announced that he and his family had relocated overseas as he returned to school for his Masters in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He disclosed that his new journey is for his family, faith, and finding purpose as he called for prayers.
In other news, last year, the couple’s marriage was rocked with infidelity rumors as a blogger alleged that Banky W had cheated on Adesua and also impregnated another woman believed to be Niyola who was formerly signed to his record label. The gossip blog claimed that Banky had asked her to abort the pregnancy but she refused to, especially as she had previously aborted two pregnancies for him.
Speaking out, Banky W while addressing the congregation during a church service, stated that the devil is a liar, as God is in control. He stated that the devil didn’t want the congregation to hear his sermon, hence why he hit him with a cheating scandal, as he noted how there was an attack on him at the beginning, but God was in control.
Banky W appreciated his wife, who he said he would forever remain grateful to God for because he often keeps her on the phone for hours.
The soon-to-be parents of two didn’t allow the scandal to separate them as in February, Banky W made a lifetime promise to Adesua. The singer praised his wife as the best, claiming he would choose her over and over because having her felt like winning the lottery. He also appreciated her unique qualities and talents.
