“He is my boss, Oga I’m So Sorry Sir” – Fuji singer Taye Currency tenders public apology to Pasuma following his recent comment

Fuji musician Taye Currency has made headlines after issuing a public apology to his mentor, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, following a comment he made about him.

In a viral video, the Ibadan-born artist clarified that his remarks were widely misunderstood, as many were unaware of the deeper context of his relationship with Pasuma. He emphasized that his words were not meant to offend but were taken out of context by the public.

Based on their story, Taye Currency before he breaks into prominence in the Nigerian fuji industry used to refer to himself as Taye Paso because they sing the same way. Tayer is Arabambi 3rd, while Pasuma used to be Arabambi 2, and K1 De Ultimate used to be the actual Arabambi.

Taye Currency is also well known for showing encomium on Pasuma, singing for him as a way to show how loyal and humble he was to the singer.

However, Taye Currency who is going to clock 50-year-old on December 17th revealed that no one should ever refer to Paso as his father in the fuji music industry. He noted that Paso is an elder brother to him as he is not old enough to be his father.

Speaking in Yoruba, Taye Currency also known as Baba Honourable utters; “Egbon mi ni Paso, ko to mi bi.”

He added that he is now 50-year-old and also went on to brag about his political influence noting to all and sundry that he is the biggest fuji artiste to ever come out of Ibadan, Oyo State.

However, in a new video, Taye Currency has apologized to his mentor Pasuma and his fans adding that he is so loyal and humble to him and should please forgo his comment that was interpreted by many as he concluded that Paso is an elderly person.
