Instead, he focuses on going the extra mile and letting his creativity shine. A lion’s strength lies in his courage, not in the absence of loneliness. He reigns and rules with purpose. Much love and respect, sir.”

Naijalegit News recalls that popular Nigerian musician Asake and actor Muyideen Oladapo, also known as Lala, were recently featured in a video that perfectly embodies the proverb, “Don’t ever forget who dey for you.”
Asake, the “Remember” crooner, made headlines after delivering an electrifying performance at the 20,000-seat O2 Arena, marking the second time in a year that the YBNL signee has sold out the iconic venue.
However, what truly caught the attention of many online was a video showing actor Lala vibing with Asake at the UK concert. This moment sparked reactions, particularly from former students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), who recalled Lala as Asake’s early benefactor.
According to popular blogger @AsakeTerrorist, Lala was instrumental in Asake’s early career, bringing him from Lagos to OAU in Ile Ife, Osun State. During that time, Lala, then a student at OAU, gave Asake opportunities to act in his campus shows, providing the young artist with a platform to hone his talents.
In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, Asake invited Lala to his O2 Arena show on September 21, 2024, where the two were seen enjoying the event with palpable energy. Reflecting on the moment, @AsakeTerrorist wrote, “Lala brought Asake from Lagos to OAU, and Lala let Asake act in his campus shows then. Fast forward to last night, Asake brought Lala to watch him perform at the O2 Arena. The good deeds Lala did for Asake then have finally paid off.”
