Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing expressed mixed emotions as she celebrated her sister’s birthday just days after marking the third anniversary of their mother’s passing.
In a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, Nkechi shared a stunning photo of her sister in honor of her 25th birthday, reflecting both joy and remembrance during the occasion.
According to Nkechi Blessing, they only have God and themselves. She also promised to be there for her sister.
She further thanked her for coming into their lives 25years ago, because she has been nothing but a blessing to her family.
She wrote: On dis day 25 years ago,you came into our lives and since that day up until today you have been nothing but a blessing😍👏🏻❤️ happy beautiful birthday to my mothers last child,the mummy of the house❤️ I got you for life Ijeoma❤️ Age gracefully 🙏🏻

Naijalegit News recalls that three years after the passing of her mother, actress Nkechi Blessing paid a heartfelt tribute to her.
On Monday, Nkechi shared a touching video montage of her late mother on Instagram, expressing the deep sense of loss she continues to feel. Reflecting on the emotional milestone, she wrote, “Three whole years without you, mummy, and it still feels incredibly hard. It was today, exactly at 12 pm, that you left this world. I miss you every single day, AFIANMA.”
She went on to say, “Just like I never let you suffer or stress while you were alive, I will carry your memory with me for the rest of my life. Rest peacefully in the bosom of the Almighty, Mummy. I love you forever, until we meet again.”
Nkechi also encouraged her followers to honor her mother’s memory, adding, “If you see me around Ikeja, just ask for a box of goodness and offer a prayer for my sweet mother.”
Her mother, Mrs. Gloria Sunday, passed away on September 23, 2021, and was laid to rest on October 17 of the same year.
