Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Mo Bimpe, recently paid a courtesy visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
The Governor expressed his honor at meeting with the couple ahead of the release of their historical film Lisabi, sharing the moment on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
“We were honored to host actor and filmmaker @TheDimejiLateef, alongside his wife, @Mobimpeoyebade, as he prepares for the premiere of his historical movie Lisabi in Ogun State.
The film celebrates the legacy of Lisabi, a legendary Egbaland warrior. We extend our full support and wish him continued success as a proud ambassador of Ogun State”.
Lateef, also took to his Instagram and X account to share photos and videos from the visit, as he expressed how humbled he was to have been received by the governor. He stated that it felt great to be home and expressed how thrilled he was to see his movie receiving such strong acceptance and support from the State Government.
Lateef further praised the governor for consistently recognizing exceptional talents in Ogun State and for his commitment to youth empowerment and innovation.
