Nigerian Fuji singer King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1, is facing criticism after it was revealed that his son with actress Bisola Badmus is receiving a scholarship from Nigerians.
This comes shortly after Bisola Badmus, who is currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumor, opened up about the challenges of co-parenting with KWAM 1.
In a recent interview, she shared that she initially kept her illness from him, but after he found out, he supported her briefly before eventually cutting off communication and no longer responding to her calls.
Reaching out to him, she stated that she wants him to take care of the responsibilities of their son as it hasn’t been easy for her.
Following her cry out, many Nigerians had offered assistance to her, with some offering to sponsor her son through school. Her colleague, Biola Bayo, via her Instagram page, made the good news known as she expressed gratitude to those who have been supporting her.
“THANK GOD WE FINALLY GOT A SCHOLARSHIP FOR MALIK! OLUWASEUN”. May God continue to help her, I pray she will never lack money and the gift of good people around you.
Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us since yesterday. I’m grateful”.
