Congratulations are pouring in for controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and his wife Ashabi, as they welcome their second child.
The singer shared the joyous news on his Instagram page, posting a video of their newborn daughter alongside photos from Ashabi’s pregnancy. Expressing his gratitude, Portable thanked God for the birth of his “princess” and for shielding them from any form of disgrace.
Giving a shout-out to Ashabi, he prayed that God would continue to bless her as he vowed to fly with her forever.

Ashabi, on her part, stated that her heart is filled with joy as she welcomes her playmate. She revealed her daughter’s name as Princess Irorunloluwa Eyitayo.
“My heart is so filled with joy as we welcome my playmate. May GOD bless you, Princess Irorunloluwa Eyitayo.”
In June, Naijalegit reported that Portable revealed Ashabi was expecting his second child, but not without controversy. The singer claimed that Ashabi had contacted his wife, Bewaji, to inform her that she planned to step away from her relationship with him, despite being pregnant with his child.
Surprisingly, just days after this revelation, Ashabi marked her second anniversary with Portable, sharing a prayer for wisdom and understanding to sustain their imperfect love. At the time, as a mother of one, she expressed gratitude for having him in her life despite their turbulent relationship.
This was not the first time the couple aired their disagreements publicly. In January, they clashed after Ashabi granted an interview about their love life, which infuriated Portable. He responded by publicly reminding her that she was initially just a side chick.
Despite their rocky history, the two briefly reconciled, with Portable referring to Ashabi as his “wife and queen” in shared screenshots of their private messages. However, the peace was short-lived as tensions resurfaced, with Portable accusing her of attempting to disrupt his marriage to Bewaji.
