Nigerian actor and skit creator Abiola AbdulGafar, popularly known as Cute Abiola, is commemorating the one-year anniversary of the late musician Ilerioluwa Promise, also known as Mohbad.
To remind you, Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27 under mysterious circumstances. After his death, videos surfaced online showing him being harassed by his former boss and associates, raising many questions surrounding his untimely demise.
Today, September 12, 2024, marks the one-year remembrance of the late singer, and to remember him, Cute Abiola took to his Instagram page to share a clip of the singer at an event. He noted how it’s been a year as he urged him to rest on.
“A year ago, today. Rest on Legend”.
