Well-known Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has stirred significant attention online with his candid remarks about Nigeria’s ongoing economic challenges.
In a post on his Instagram page, the actor expressed his frustration, admitting that he regretted not turning to “Yahoo Yahoo,” a colloquial term for online fraud, due to the severe financial struggles he faces despite his best efforts to make an honest living.
Aremu Afolayan is undoubtedly one of the prominent Nigerian actor. Over the years, he has starred in numerous films, including “Idamu Akoto,” “Eji Owuro,” and “Afoju Meta’. He is the brother of popular movie producer Kunle Afolayan, Gabriel Afolayan and Moji Afolayan.
Despite being a successful actor, Aremu revealed that legitimate works have become so useless with the insurgence price increase in petrol, food products and many more.
He wrote, “All of d days them dey talk about Yahoo Yahoo, na today I regret am pass say I no do am. Legitimate hustling never felt super useless”.
