Nigerian actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele recently responded firmly to a comment suggesting she should stop starring in her own films.
The box office queen had shared a video of herself dancing on X (formerly Twitter) to promote her upcoming movie, “Everybody Loves Jenifa,” set to hit theaters in December.
In the midst of the excitement, a commenter criticized her for continuing to feature in her own productions, prompting Funke to take a strong stance against the remark.
The X user wrote: “Maybe you could do better by producing a movie one day without being part of the cast.”
Funke Akindele replied: “Maybe you could do better logging out of this app”
