Fans and loved ones have flocked to singer Adeyinka Alaseyori’s social media page to congratulate and support her after she shared a video of her arrival in Canada. However, in a recent Instagram Live session, the gospel singer revealed that she has been enduring difficult circumstances over the past six months and urged Nigerians to keep her in their prayers.

“This is very important to me,” Adeyinka said. “Wherever you hear my voice, I just want you to pray, keep praying for me. I need your prayers. A lot of things have been happening from six months back, or one year back.”

She emphasized the importance of her fans’ support, asking them to pray not only for her but also for themselves and everything that concerns them. In an emotional moment, Adeyinka switched to Yoruba, saying, “Lord, anyone that refuses to tell me ‘Well done’ while I’m alive, please don’t give them the opportunity to see my death and say, ‘Rest in peace.’”

With a heavy heart, she expressed her frustration that people often overlook small victories, only showing up to offer condolences during times of loss. Fighting back tears, Adeyinka shared that she is trying to remain strong despite the overwhelming emotions.

Her heartfelt plea comes in the wake of the recent passing of fellow gospel artist Aduke Gold on August 12 at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan.
