The official trailer for actress and filmmaker Wumi Toriola’s next film Queen Lateefah has been published.
On Tuesday, Toriola shared the teaser on her Instagram page, revealing the cast and crew of the film as well.
She captioned the post with excitement, writing, “ARE YOU EVEN READY? Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my dream, the Official Trailer for QUEEN LATEEFAH .
“Brace yourself for the ultimate showdown of secrets and lies in #QueenLateefah .
“Queen Lateefah is coming to cinemas nationwide on September 27. Mark your calendars and tell a friend to tell a friend—it’s about to get real.”
Ahead of the release, Toriola hosted a media parley for Queen Lateefah, which saw the presence of notable actors including Fathia Williams and Kunle Remi.
The film is directed by Adeoluwa Owu, popularly known as Captain Degzy, who is also the director behind 2023’s highest-grossing Nollywood movie, A Tribe Called Judah, which earned a remarkable N1.4 billion at the box office.
Queen Lateefah features Kunle Remi, Nancy Isime, Fathia Williams Balogun, Broda Shaggi, Adedimeji Lateef, Salami Rotimi, others.
