In December of last year, following the death of veteran Dejumo Lewis, Foluke had written an open letter to President Tinubu and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu, on the poor state of Nollywood actors.

She noted how many veteran actors suffer, especially health-wise, and have no help. Foluke urged the president to offer a better arrangement for the veterans and to set up a trust fund for the veterans and provide little things for them that they would appreciate for the rest of their lives.
