“Orie O Pe Rara, can you say that nonnseeense again” – Veteran actor Jide Kosoko changed it for Isbae U instantly in a new interview (Video)

On the most recent episode of comedian Isbae U’s show, veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko was featured.

Naturally, this did not go well for the interviewer, who is notorious for making fun of his guests by asking pointed questions. Today, July 27, 2024, comedian Isbae U uploaded a new video of his popular program “Curiosity Made Me Ask” on his verified Instagram page.

This time, actor Jide Kosoko was invited. Isbae U wasted no time in making subtle jabs at the senior actor, just like the other invited guests. But, Jide Kosoko answered by applauding back at the comedian, letting him know that he is a father figure.

In a recent humorous exchange, Isbae U tackled veteran actor Jide Kosoko over his directive to his daughter to delete an Instagram post. The back-and-forth, which has since gone viral, highlighted generational differences in social media usage and parental control.

Isbae U questioned Kosoko: “Why did you tell one of your daughters to delete a post from her Instagram page? Did you help her open the Instagram page?”

Kosoko replied: “Don’t I have the right to advise my daughter against whatever I don’t like?”

Isbae U retorted: “She is over 18, she can post whatever she likes.”

Kosoko insisted: “She cannot post whatever she likes. Forget about it. I was not comfortable with that picture and I told her to delete it.”

Isbae U playfully countered: “But we, her fans, are comfortable seeing what we saw.”

Kosoko humorously responded: “Orie tiyi patapata oh,” meaning “You are totally insane.”

The exchange turned even funnier when Isbae U mocked Kosoko for having more than 12 children, suggesting he must have been very busy in his younger days. Kosoko, catching on to the joke, asked, “Busy doing what?”

In another part of the video, Isbae U asked the 70-year-old actor where he sees himself 50 years from now. Kosoko candidly replied, “I don’t know,” to which Isbae U gestured humorously, implying Kosoko would be dead.

The conversation then shifted to politics, with Isbae U asking Kosoko if people should not be bullied and allowed to freely vote for whoever they want, adding a cheeky remark about Tinubu. Kosoko sternly replied: “Can you say that nonsense again let me hear you.”
