Following the allegation leveled against Nollywood icon, Jide Kosoko that he should be investigated over the death of his third wife and fellow actress, Henrietta, the movie legend says ‘the time will come to speak,’ DAILY POST is reporting.
recalls that the daughter of Victor Omololu Olunloyo – a former governor of Oyo State, Kemi Olunloyo, whose public criticism of people apparently knows no bounds, had suggested that Kosoko should be investigated as he may have been using all his wives for ritual.
She noted that it was a rare coincidence for a man to lose three wives consecutively.
Ms Olunloyo had earlier said, “Actor Jide’s third wife just died.
“The light skin bleaching Nollywood actor. This makes it three wives dead.
“He is now technically a black widower.
“He should be investigated for ritualism and the occult world.
“Something I hear is very prevalent in Nollywood,” the journalist had said.
In an exclusive chat with DAILY POST, the bereaved movie star when asked how he was getting over the tragic loss, said, “I am getting on by God’s grace but I am not in the right frame to attend to those allegations now.
“I’m so sorry about that. The time will come for me to talk. I will definitely speak on my wife’s death. Not immediately please but I will,” Kosoko told our reporter.
The took a step further to quiz some persons close to the family, pondering on the said allegation.
Speaking with a TV presenter, Ms Morayo, this newspaper gathered that the deceased was on her TV show few days before her death.
Morayo said, “Late Henrietta before her death was on our show. She was not really feeling too well but she was lively. She told me she needed to go the hospital for check up.”
On the news making the rounds that the deceased’s husband should be investigated over her death, Morayo said, “That is awkward. She was like a mother to me and her husband, like a father. He is not capable of doing such. I don’t believe that. It is Yoruba mentality, they just believe such coincidences (loosing three wives consecutively) are unheard of.
“It is very very wrong to think that,” she stressed.
“Mr Jide cannot just wake up one day and decide that he will kill his wives for rituals. No way. His wife was sick and of course death is inevitable.
“By the way, there was no fight between them for one to have thought her husband killed her because when I mentioned her name on the show, she insisted that I added her husband’s full name alongside her first name.
“All those allegations should be disregarded. I just think it was her time to go and be with her God. We will all die one day,” the presenter added.
