Congratulations pour in as Ooni of Ife welcomes twins with third wife Olori Tobi Philips

Adewusi Adeyeye Enitan Ojaja II, the renowned Yoruba monarch and Ooni of Ife, and his third wife, Olori Tobi Philips, welcomed a pair of twins.

Ooni himself shared the wonderful news on Instagram, revealing that he and his wife had been blessed with a boy and a girl.

According to the Yoruba monarch, Queen Tobi gave birth to twins on Saturday, March 16, 2024, calling them prince and a princess.

The Ooni went on to give an update on the well-being of the new mother and their children. According to him, they are all doing fine.

In his words: “To God be the glory, great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Tobiloba, who today birthed a Prince and Princess to the Royal throne of Oduduwa. Mother and children are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”

Recall that Queen Tobi, who is a former beauty queen, is the youngest wife of Ooni and they got married in October 2022.

The 33-year-old fashion entrepreneur is a graduate of Marine Science from the University of Lagos. A former beauty queen, in 2012, she was crowned the winner of the World Miss University Africa (WMUA) beauty pageant.

She is the owner of QTP Luxury Fashion, a fashion outfit. She is also a skilful 3D artist. Olori Tobi, a native of Okitipupa in Ondo State, worked for the Ooni for over six years.
