“Go to school and learn more, so you won’t come and start beggging online”- Faithia Williams spill

Popular actress Faithia Williams (formerly Faithia Balogun) has advised aspiring actors to prioritize their education before entering the industry.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “My golden advice to them is that they should go to school first, because education is key. If after school, they are still interested in filmmaking, they should attend a film school. Then, they should pray to God about what they want, and be focused.”

Speaking on her experience working on the movie, ‘Jagun Jagun’, she said, “I have seen Femi Adebayo shoot so many movies that I have been involved in. however, this particular set was a different one entirely. The script was very deep. When I got it, I was wowed. The movie was well shot with fantastic cameras, and a stellar cast and crew.”

The actress also stated that she was ecstatic to still be relevant in the industry at a time like this. She said, “It makes me feel very proud and happy that I am still in this line, while this is happening (production of quality Yoruba movies). Any good movie will take over (the market), and I believe traditional movies are doing just that. That is particularly so because they are being done well with strong storylines and good cameras. I am happy that I am involved.”
