Pastor Usman Samson, the resident pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, decided to uplift the spirits of his churchgoers on Sunday, March 3, by distributing bags of rice and yams to them.
Photos showing the bags of rice and yams well arranged in front of the altar was shared on the Church’s Facebook page.
According to reports from Niger Delta inside, the pastor also shared foodstuffs to students the previous Sunday, a relief aimed to reduce the burden of food insecurity and economic hardship people were facing.
Photos showed the church members on queue as they joyfully received their foodstuffs.
