In a recent statement, Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, disclosed that the cost of his performances has increased significantly. He claimed to have spent several million naira on suits and shoes, in addition to seven million naira on his belt.
This was shared on social media with the caption: “Price is high, o,” Portable says as he shows off majestically with outfits worth millions of dollars.”
In the video, the Nigerian singer and record label owner could be heard talking about the high prices of things while maintaining that what he has on his body at that particular moment is very expensive.
His statement: “Do you want to sell your dad’s house to buy this shoe?” he said, pointing at his shoe.
He continued: “You want to sell your papa’s house to buy this shoe? What I’m wearing is worth over 1 million. Look, see the wristwatch on my hand.”
“Go and price it. Do you know this watch? Do you know my worth? If you want to book me for shows, raise the price, o. Price is high; this belt is worth 7 million naira.
