Simi, the Nigerian singer, reveals details about her first meeting with her husband, Adekunle Gold, offering a glimpse into their early connection.
The gifted vocalist admitted that when she first met Adekunle Gold, she had no idea that he was a singer in an interviewwith the Tea with Taye podcast.
She noted how before she met him, she had already made up her mind never to marry a singer. Simi claimed she was aware of his love of music but was unaware that it was a significant matter for him.
She also revealed that her husband had a background in graphic design and was working for several companies when they met. According to the singer, she chose to pursue a relationship with Adekunle since she saw him as a kind and gentle Yoruba guy.
The “Duduke” singer further reveled that Adekinle Gold left her a message on Facebook which she is yet to reply to till date.
