A survivor of the Ibadan explosion in Nigeria has shared images, depicting life both before and after the incident, expressing gratitude to God for their survival.
On Tuesday night, January 16, many buildings has crumbled to ground following the massive explosion in Ibadan, Oyo state, which affected many areas.
Residents living at the areas were also affected as news reported casualties and injured people.
The man, identified as Ade, seems uninjured after the incident but was covered with dust, suggesting that he may have been rescued from one of the collapsed apartments.
On his X page with the handle @Shurley_banks, he posted a two-slide transformation featuring a before picture that shows him sitting neatly in his car, sporting a sunshade over his eyes.
The after photo, which has been going viral since the incident, depicts the man in a state of fear and anxiety, his face covered in dust.
Narrating his experience, he wrote, “I Escaped!!! I still don’t even know what’s happening here in ibadan but we are safe 🙏 All we heard was a massive blast”.
In his follow-up post, he furthered, “Same person Different scenarios God did!”
