Actress turned filmmaker Funke Akindele and screen diva Nse Ikpe-Etim captured attention at the premiere of Funke’s latest film, “A Tribe Called Judah,” adding glamour to the event.
The star-studded premiere unfolded at the Imax Cinema in Lagos on Sunday, featuring the theme “Costume Party Extravaganza.”
Funke graced the event resembling a fairy princess, while Nse adorned herself in a clown costume.
The “Omo Ghetto” actress ensured she took center stage, commanding attention at the event. Funke adorned herself in a stunning gown adorned with gold, complemented by a silver crown and a long veil to complete the ensemble.
The mother of two shared a video on Instagram showcasing her elegant and poised appearance. In the caption, Funke expressed gratitude to her stylist, the dress designer, and the makeup artist.

Nse, on her part, embraced an entirely new look, dressing up as a clown. The actress wore a red jacket and matching red pants, with her face adorned in a white, blue, and red clown-inspired makeup.
Fellow cast member of the film, Jidekene Achufusi, also known as Swanky JKA, posted a video featuring himself, Funke, Nse, Uzee Usman, Uzor Aruwe, and Timini Egbuson on their way to the movie premiere.
Swanky appeared as the pirate Jack Sparrow, a character portrayed by Hollywood actor Johnny Depp. Uzee opted for an Emir’s attire, and Timini embodied the popular Super Mario character.
Ini Dima-Okojie, Sharon Ooja, Shaffy Bello, Ruth Kadiri, Yvonne Jegede, Uti Nwachukuwu, Seyi Awolowo, Boma Akpore, Tania Omotayo, Nosa Rex, and Hilda Dokubo, who was dressed as a priestess, were also in attendance.
