An OAU student ends up in the hospital after a 58-hour wash-a-thon in an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record, (video)

A 200-level student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Subair Enitan, who attempted a handwashing marathon to set a new Guinness World Record, has ended up in the hospital.

In the early hours of today, Monday, November, 27, Enitan ended the marathon after 58 hours, surpassing her initial plan of 50 hours.

The announcement was made via the official social media platforms of the marathon.

A trending video making its rounds online features the young lady on a hospital bed and her hands have turned white and wrinkled as a result of the handwashing marathon.

Guinness world record has not announced Enitan as the holder of longest individual hand washing marathon.

It is worth noting that Enitan began on Friday afternoon, November 24, at the Student Union Building Motor park inside the University campus with thousands of students drumming supports for her.
