The sister to the late Mohbad’s wife debunks claims, stating her mother was an idol during the period when the late Mohbad was being bullied.
She revealed that her mother, in the company of the late Mohbad’s parents, went to plead with Naira Marley’s mother several times to help talk to her son, Naira Marley, the former boss of singer Mohbad, who was previously signed under his record label “Marlian Records”.
She stated that the effort to make peace with Naira Marley and Mohbad through the mother of Naira Marley proved abortive, and even when Mohbad filed a petition to the police against Naira Marley, nothing changed, the bullying was still happening.
In her words,”To everyone saying what step did my mother take when Mohbad was being beaten, my mother and Mohbad’s dad and mum went to Agungi on two different occasions to meet Naira Marley’s mum. They begged her to talk to her son to forgive and leave Mohbad alone.
This was done after the police refused to do anything about the report MOH made to them. Despite going to her to beg her, they were still be*ting MOH. If I lie, May God judge me.”
