Folasade Adeleke, the cousin of the award-winning music star Davido, has decided to share insights into her personal life.
In a recent interview, the single mother of one disclosed that she became pregnant at the age of 16 and has been a mother for 15 years.
She characterized the incident as the darkest period in her life, overwhelmed by fear, shame, and regret. Nevertheless, she managed to overcome it with the support of God.
“I am 31 years old, and I’ve been a mother for 15 years. I was 16 when I got pregnant.
I realize no one can shame me if I know who I am. Motherhood is a unique journey. I always say that whatever I go through becomes my testimony.
It started with fear, then came shame, regret, and neglect.
That was the darkest time in my life. Yet, through it all, God was with me.”
