Singer Davido and his wife, Chioma Rowland, attended a family member’s birthday celebration in Atlanta, USA, on Sunday.
Chioma made her first public appearance since the birth of their twins, radiantly posing for pictures with the family, as seen in viral videos from the event.
B-Red, Davido’s cousin recovering from knee surgery, was also in attendance during the birthday celebration.
Naijalegit recalls that the ‘Unavailable’ singer and his wife welcomed a set of twins, a boy, and a girl, in the United States about a year after their son Ifeanyi passed away in Lagos.
A video captured Chioma being wheeled out of a hospital with her twins, while Davido stood by her side, smiling.
Speaking at the United Masters Select Con event on October 15, Davido shared that he and his wife were overwhelmed with emotion when they discovered they were expecting twins. He mentioned, “When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed.
My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October.”
Davido also acknowledged that the loss of his son could have led anyone to lose faith in God.
