Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has surfaced online for the first time after nearly two years of battling an undisclosed illness.
It’s worth noting that the Kogi-born actress had faced health challenges following her purported involvement with the controversial clergyman, Apostle Suleman. Despite the preacher refuting any relationship, the actress maintained that her life took a downturn after their alleged separation, leading to her being bedridden until now.
Halimah appeared to be in robust health as she fulfilled her civic duty during the governorship election in Kogi state, held on Saturday, November 11.
Sharing photos and clips online, she conveyed her delight at returning to her state, emphasizing that it marked her first outing in two years.
With joy for returning to her hometown and being part of a historic event, she wrote, “It was an honor, Kogi state. Nothing like home๐ Kogi state election๐๐พ My first outing in 2 years๐ God showed up for me ๐๐ Amb Halima Abubakar.”
