Davido cancels his plan to assist Eniola, a physically challenged hawker who gained attention for pretending to be a lady.

Renowned Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially abandoned his initiative to assist the viral physically challenged hawker.

This decision comes in response to recent revelations circulating, confirming that the physically challenged individual, Eniola from Osun State, is a man disguising himself as a woman to deceive people and exploit their hard-earned money.

Recall that Naijalegit previously reported the attention-grabbing story of Eniola, a disabled individual with five fingers. This came after comedian Brain Jotter extended a generous gesture by gifting her the sum of N400k upon discovering her hawking table water on the streets of Lagos despite her disability.

On his official handle on X, formerly known as Twitter, billionaire singer Davido, upon verifying that the viral hawker Eniola is a man pretending to be a lady, has opted to abandon his mission of providing assistance.

He also relayed the information to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who had promised to support Eniola, revealing the news that Eniola is, in fact, a man disguising himself as a woman.

Davido’s tweet, announcing the cessation of his support for Eniola, who posed as a lady, triggered reactions online.

Many shared their opinions, including @iamAbiodunAA, who stated, “Is he not still a human being, regardless? Coming from Osun, facing challenges and being disabled, he deserves all the help for a better life! He deserves assistance! Unless you and your uncle are just chasing clout! The boy needs help!”
