Court sends nurse who injected Mohbad and his friend back to police custody

A 37-year-old auxiliary nurse by the name of Fisayo Ogedengbe, who was detained in connection with the contentious passing of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has been remanded in custody following a ruling by the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Yaba.

It is alleged that the nurse administered injections to the late singer, which tragically led to his demise.

Likewise, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun has directed that Ayobani Sadiq, a friend of Mohbad and another suspect in the case, be remanded in police custody.

The police have reported that the investigation into the matter remains ongoing, and as a result, Olatunbosun has set the case’s adjournment date to November 29, awaiting advice from the Department of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

As previously reported by Naijalegit, Nigerian singer Abdulazeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, and music promoter Samson Elutu, widely recognized as Sam Larry, have been granted bail.

In accordance with their bail conditions, Naira Marley and Sam Larry are obligated to furnish three sureties and a total of 20 million naira.

Furthermore, they are required to surrender their international passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The Magistrate delivered a stern warning against direct contact, stating that any attempts to reach her would be documented and potentially revealed during open court proceedings.
