A former signee of Portable who departed from the record label has disclosed the primary reason for his departure from ZehNation and Odogwu Bar.
The former signee explained that, in his opinion, Portable is a good-hearted person with noble intentions, but he was compelled to leave ZehNation due to negative influences from individuals around him who did not wish to see him help others.
He elaborated on how he faced daily beatings from those around Portable. The reason for the violence was that he had initially intended to collaborate on a single track with Portable.
However, his friends advised him against it, warning that if he achieved success, he would likely meet the same fate as Maine Money did, leaving the record label.
Portable even pressured him for money, as he intended to feature the ex-signee. In fear for his life, he felt he had to run away, as remaining would have exposed him to possible harm or even death.
